Reef Scuba's Shipping Policy

We do not sell, trade, or give away your e-mail address to anyone for any reason except
if we suspect fraud.

If you do not give a correct e-mail address to us, you
will not receive a tracking number and we will not be responsible for non delivery or loss of your order.
It is also a good idea to check your Spam folder.

We are located in Chesapeake,
Virginia which is Eastern Standard Time (EST).
- PLEASE be careful and include
your complete address. You will
be charged additional shipping charges if you supply us with a
wrong address. UPS charges us $10.00 for address corrections.
This fee will be passed on to you. This is more common then you think. Again double
check your street spelling, street number and zip code!
- A Business in a home is
considered residential. If you are a resident and check
business, UPS charges the difference between the two plus a
$5.00 correction fee which will be passed on to you as
additional shipping costs. If you think the shipping charges are
high, please call us. We are usually able to help you save
shipping costs.
Please give us your complete address. For example: If you have regular delivery in an apartment complex and the postal carrier knows your apartment number, do NOT assume that UPS will.
If you are shipping to a business, give the Company Name.
UPS charges us $10.00 for each delivery correction.
If we are charged for your address correction, a copy of our
UPS bill will be sent to you and you will be charged $10.00
for giving us an incorrect address (20+ corrections each month has become very costly to us.)
If your address is not correct (most common is house number wrong, left out suite number for businesses, and zip code mistakes
and UPS tries to deliver your order, without success, it will be returned to us.
This will delay your order being delivered on time. We will have to contact you for your correct address and resend out your order! |
UPS
Shipping Time Service Level Options
If we receive your order by
1:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, our goal is to have your order picked, packed, and shipped the same day. USA orders only.
Please Note: UPS Policy does NOT consider the day of pickup as a
day of delivery.
We currently
offer 4 service levels for orders fulfilled at our Internet Warehouse: Standard,
3 Day Select , 2 Business Day, and Next Business Day.

Standard Service Option: Your
order is processed the next business day. Depending on where you
live your order will be delivered in 2-10 business days.

Day Select Option: Your order is delivered to you 3 business
days (Monday-Friday) after it has been processed.
For orders placed during the weekend, your order will be
processed/shipped the Monday following the weekend.

2 Day Air Option: Your order is delivered to
you 2 business days (Monday-Friday) after it has been processed.
For orders placed during the weekend, your order will be
processed/shipped the Monday following the weekend.

Next Day Air Service Option - Your order is delivered to
you the next business day (Monday-Friday) after it has been processed. Note: UPS and FedEx do NOT consider the day of pickup as a day of delivery.

PLEASE
NOTE: We do not require an adult signature for deliveries,
but please note that the decision to leave your package without a
signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want
an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note
on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No
Signature Required." Be sure to include your name and tracking
number on the note.
Shipping Notification - How do you know you order has shipped?
If you have provided us with a valid email address UPS/USPS will send a shipment notification by email once your order is on its way. The email,
by UPS, will be sent from QuantumViewNotify@ups.com with the subject UPS Ship Notification. It will include the tracking number, scheduled delivery date and a link to track your package.
PLEASE NOTE:
Many spam filters and user/server specified preferences will prohibit the delivery of UPS Ship Notifications and/or our order confirmation/status emails. You may wish to add QuantumViewNotify@ups.com and salesinfo@reefscuba.com to your trusted list/address book to better ensure you will receive ship notification or order status emails.
Calculating The Arrival Date for An Order
Total time is based on order processing time plus shipping time:
- Order processing time is the time needed to pick and pack your order. Our goal is to process your order
within 24 hours when received during our normal business week (Monday-Friday).
- Shipping time is based on the shipping service level option you select.
EXAMPLE: It is 8 a.m. Thursday and you are placing an order for the tools and accessories for an upcoming project. If you choose the Standard shipping option, your order will arrive by the following Thursday. If you choose the 2 Business Day shipping option, your order will arrive by Monday. If you choose the Next Business Day shipping option, your order will arrive the next day, Friday.
Saturday delivery is an option. Please call.
At 1:00 p.m. that same Thursday you realize you need another product, so you decide to place another order. If you choose the Standard shipping option, your order will arrive by Friday of the following week. If you choose the 2 Business Day shipping option, your order will arrive by Tuesday. If you choose the Next Business Day shipping option, your order will arrive on Monday.
Same Day Shipping
If we receive your order by
1:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, our goal is to have your order picked, packed, and shipped the same day. USA orders only.
Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico,
U.S. Virgin Islands, and Hawaii Orders are considered USA orders but will ship only by Priority Mail or UPS 2nd Day.
At this time we are only able to offer the UPS 2 Business Day and Priority Mail delivery levels for orders shipped to Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico,
U.S. Virgin Islands, and Hawaii. A surcharge of $2.00 applies to all 2 Business Day and Priority Mail service level shipments to these states.
Shipping Rates
Reefscuba.com presents your shipping costs during the checkout process. As part of the checkout process, we provide you with UPS shipping rates as quoted by the United Parcel Service's Web site. The rates will change depending upon the level of service you request, as well as the weight of your order and the distance zone you live in, calculated by UPS. For more details, you may consult the UPS Web site at
www.ups.com.
A surcharge of $2 applies to shipments for allotment of expense of shipping materials.
For orders being sent to a P.O. Box or APO/FPO address, shipping rates are based on the weight of your order alone. Priority Mail (2-3 days) is the only option available for these addresses.
Items weighing more than 70 lbs. cannot be shipped by Priority Mail due to postal regulations. Reef Scuba's Home Delivery rates vary depending on how far away you live from our store, as well as by delivery weight.
Our Web Merchant does NOT offer 1st Class Mail or Parcel Post. If you want to ship your order by these methods, please call our toll free number 800-633-4837 for lower rates. We apologize for this inconvenience.
If you decide to return your order, you
will require an RMA. Shipping charges are not refundable and a 15%
restocking fee applies except for exchanges or mistakes in your
order.
International
For destinations outside of the United States, products are shipped via the U.S. Postal Services. In most cases we find that it is cheaper than the UPS or FedEx price quotes. Charges for sending packages via the U.S. Postal Service can not be calculated online. Your bill will be adjusted to reflect the lowest price. Please
email or call (1757-436-7664 or 1-800-633-4837) if you have questions about your shipping methods or charges.
Shipping restrictions are as follows:
- P.O. Boxes and APO addresses will be serviced by the United States Postal Service.
- Due to postal regulations, any order that weighs more than 70 lbs. or exceeds certain dimensions cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
- Reefscuba.com cannot ensure that orders to APO/FPO addresses or to any United States Protectorate will be delivered within the Standard service window of 3 to 7 business days.
- P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses are offered the Standard service option only unless express service is requested.
- Orders to all United States Protectorates are offered the Standard service option only and will incur a $2 surcharge.
Order Tracking and Delivery
To track an order to be delivered by Reef Scuba, please
email us at or call 1-800-633-4937 or 1-757-436-7664 to speak with a customer service representative. If your order is shipped by UPS or US Postal Service, you can track your package as it makes its way to your address. When your order has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail shipping confirmation with a tracking or delivery confirmation number. You can check the status of your shipment in the following ways:
- Click the link on your shipping confirmation e-mail to track your order via our carriers' Web sites and enter your tracking number.
- Contact a Reef Scuba customer service representative at 1-800-633-4837 or 1-757-436-7664.
- E-mail us at

for a status update.
Either way you choose, we will provide you with timely, accurate information about the status of your order. If you should misplace your shipping confirmation e-mail, please contact one of our customer service representatives at 1-800-633-4837 for assistance or e-mail us at

Receiving An Order
If your order is a Reef Scuba Delivery, you may be required to sign for it. You must also show a photo ID and the credit card you used to make the purchase.
Damaged or Lost Merchandise
If you receive a package that is damaged, you must have the UPS driver make a note of this and report it to UPS. This is the only proof that we have of damaged or lost merchandise. We are then able to file a claim with UPS for reimbursement of loss or damaged merchandise.
Please inspect your Reef Scuba shipment before signing the driver's release. By signing the release, you are accepting the goods in their current condition. If you notice that the goods are damaged, you should refuse to sign the release. You can then call our customer service department to have them send you a replacement of loss or damaged merchandise.

Gift Wrapping
We do not offer this service at this time except for special requests. However, we do offer Online Gift Wrap Delivery during holiday seasons.
Shipping Rate for Gift Card Holders
Reef Scuba gift cards are shipped free-of-charge at the Standard service level (3-7 days). Gift cards can be delivered the next business day (Next Business Day Service level) for a charge of $4.99. Your gift card orders will be processed within the same day if received Monday through Friday prior to 12 p.m. If your order is placed after 12 p.m. or on the weekend, your order will be processed the next business day. For weekend orders, please allow one business day for processing and one business day for delivery.
